Key Responsibilities
As a Customer Contact Technician at blithequark, you will be responsible for a range of duties, including:
- Answering inbound calls related to federal debts, collections, and returned checks, and taking appropriate actions based on the account status
- Reviewing and researching customer accounts to resolve inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Documenting collection efforts made according to policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate records of customer interactions
- Promoting products and services related to ECP Military Star and E-Commerce, and maintaining and improving quality results by adhering to standards, guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Handling customer and Exchange inquiries on ESSO accounts, including ration balance, credit balance, refund of credit balance, plate deactivation, and other related issues
- Performing other duties as assigned, and contributing to the overall success of the customer contact team at blithequark
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- At least one year of customer service, customer relations, or retail operations experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Prior experience in a call center environment is preferred, with knowledge of call center software and technology
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, we are looking for candidates with:
- Experience with account services, ATN, credit card management systems, CCD, CVS, and other related software and systems
- Intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and prepare reports
- Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to create presentations and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Typing speed of 30 words per minute, with accuracy and attention to detail
