About the Role
As a Coach and Operations Manager Trainee, you'll play a critical role in leading and developing high-performing teams, driving sales growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. You'll be responsible for developing your leadership skills, learning the ins and outs of store operations, and becoming a key player in our retail leadership development program.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop Teams: Teach, train, and mentor associates to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth. Tour stores, provide feedback, and communicate effectively with all levels of associates.
- Exceptional Customer Service: Model and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs are met.
- Drive Financial Performance: Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting and forecasting, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals.
- Supervise and Develop Associates: Hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, assign duties, and provide recognition and feedback.
- Coordinate and Complete Job-Related Activities: Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, support plans and initiatives, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure Compliance and Integrity: Implement company policies and procedures, support company mission and values, and demonstrate ethics and integrity.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 2 years of college; OR
- 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR
- 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
