About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Call Center Customer Service Representative to join our team as a First Notice of Loss (FNOL) Specialist. As an FNOL Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and other stakeholders, providing top-notch inbound communication services while accurately recording First Notice of Loss claims. These claims are crucial for reporting damage to our clients' property, and your role will play a significant part in ensuring that our clients receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities
- Accept inbound calls from engineers, technicians, and other field operators reporting FNOL, providing professional and courteous service.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, entering data accurately into our customized database.
- Report underground damage to locate companies when applicable, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide outstanding service to customer representatives, addressing their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Analyze photos and map the correct location of damage, utilizing your analytical skills to interpret visual data.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of previous customer service call center experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
- Advanced phone and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to read and follow scripts, as well as analyze and interpret photos to determine damage.
- Active listening skills, with the ability to empathize with clients and stakeholders, providing personalized support and solutions.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDFs, and internet searches.
- The ability to type a minimum of 55 words per minute, error-free, with excellent reading skills and attention to detail.
