Job Overview
The Business Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the Benefit Development and Backing team, providing high-level analytical support and insights to inform business decisions. This cross-functional position will collaborate with various departments, including Sales, Field Operations, Product Development, Finance, Enterprise Planning, and Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing client programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing projects, with a focus on enabling the business to make informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of client programs, strategic initiatives, new product launches, operational changes, and marketing projects to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth
- Design and execute pilot programs, leveraging testing methodologies such as A/B testing to measure effectiveness and inform future initiatives
- Maintain and update business tools and models, such as BPM or Course Planning models, to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Identify errors, discrepancies, and gaps in reporting and processes, and develop solutions to address these issues
- Proactively analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement, and present findings to stakeholders
- Support the development of arenaflex tools and models to drive financial targets and enhance value chain capabilities
- Model business scenarios based on known data sets and business needs, and provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and support the achievement of company goals
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Management, Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, or Operations, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or forecasting
- Management Consulting or Engineering experience is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLookups, and modeling capabilities
- Strong data literacy and ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
- Data visualization skills using Tableau or Microsoft Power BI
- Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of Profit and Loss Statement
- Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong change management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of projects
