**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our remote team in Tampa, USA. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for providing high-level analytical support to our business stakeholders, including the development and implementation of business strategies, process improvements, and data-driven decision making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to drive business growth and improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct pre-and post-examination of client programs, business initiatives, new product launches, process changes, and marketing campaigns to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations to the business.
* Investigate the execution of different pilot projects, following a testing methodology (e.g. A/B Testing).
* Maintain and update required tools and systems, such as BPM or Course Planning models, based on business needs.
* Identify errors, irregularities, and gaps in reporting and processes, and provide solutions.
* Proactively search for patterns and trends in data to identify areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.
* Support the development and implementation of business strategies to improve financial performance, including the analysis of top-line to bottom-line metrics.
* Model business scenarios based on historical data and business needs.
* Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting, as needed, and develop business cases for new initiatives.
* Other related and assigned responsibilities.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Operations Management, Marketing, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Operations, Marketing, Finance, or related field, with a focus on analysis, modeling, or forecasting.
* Experience in management consulting or business development is highly preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLookups, and data modeling.
* Strong data visualization skills, including experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.
* Proficiency in other MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Visio.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Understanding of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets.
* Ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, managing multiple complex projects and priorities.
* Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Strong change management skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and change management initiatives.
* Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and take ownership of projects and initiatives.
* Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Visual Basic, macros, and SQL.
* Experience with statistical analysis, including R or similar tools.
* Knowledge of data mining and business intelligence tools, including Edge Minder or similar tools.
* Experience with project management or service management tools, including SharePoint.
* Functional knowledge of sales, distribution, warehouse, and production processes.
* Experience with business process re-engineering or process improvement initiatives.
