Job Overview
As a Customer Service 401(k) Specialist at blithequark, you will be an essential part of our Customer Service and inbound Contact Center team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide best-in-class service to our clients, answering their questions and concerns regarding 401(k) plans and administration. You will be the face of our company, and your excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, will be crucial in building trust and loyalty with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer 20-40+ inbound phone calls per day, addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding 401(k) plans and administration
- Educate clients on 401(k) regulations, compliance questions, and plan administration, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our services
- Provide accurate, timely, and customer-focused service, meeting department performance metrics such as quality, handle time, VOC, and adherence
- Navigate our website, register online, and assist with password resets, ensuring a seamless client experience
- Apply knowledge obtained during classroom and on-the-job training to independently solve client requests and resolve issues
- Utilize multiple CRM applications, such as Salesforce and Relius, to assist with addressing client questions and resolving requests
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications:
- 1+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a remote call center environment
- Fluency in both Spanish and English languages, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to change, think critically, and prioritize tasks to meet established deliverables
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach to service and a commitment to regulatory and organizational compliance
- High school diploma or GED, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general website navigation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retirement plan experience, with knowledge of 401(k) regulations and administration
- Experience working with CRM applications, such as Salesforce and Relius
- Previous experience in a fully remote work environment, with a proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively
