About the Role: Netflix Data Entry Specialist
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Data Science and Engineering (DSE) group, specifically within the Games DSE team, you will play a vital role in supporting critical pipelines that determine both individual game and overall game portfolio performance. Your work will closely collaborate with our game studio partners to understand the types of data that need to be collected, and you may also work directly with our Game Development teams as they gather telemetry from specific games. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Implement Data Pipelines: Engineer efficient, scalable, and flexible data pipelines to handle both structured and unstructured data, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
- Develop Deep Understanding of Netflix Games: Foster a profound comprehension of the emerging games space at Netflix, including trends, challenges, and opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with Game Studios: Partner with our game studio prompts to develop high-level metrics for games, such as retention and engagement, and work with Netflix's internal game studios to ingest relevant metrics and game data into the Netflix ecosystem.
- Integrate with Netflix SDK and External Partners: Collaborate with the Netflix SDK group and Netflix's external game partners to obtain data through the Netflix Games SDK, ensuring comprehensive data collection and analysis.
- Join a Diverse Team of Data Engineers: Be part of a talented group of data engineers with diverse skill sets, working closely with analysis engineering and data science partners to drive data-driven decisions and innovations.
About You:
To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about building intuitive data products and have a strong foundation in programming and data engineering. The ideal candidate will possess:

- Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, or Scala, with at least 2 years of programming or data engineering experience.

- Big Data Technologies: Experience in engineering data pipelines using big data technologies (Hive, Voila, Flash, Flink) on medium to large-scale datasets.
- AWS Cloud Resources: Familiarity with AWS cloud resources (S3, EC2, RDS, etc.) and experience in deploying and managing data pipelines in cloud environments.
- Data Modeling and Pipelines: Ability to take requirements and implement flexible data models and pipelines, with a focus on scalability, performance, and data quality.
