About the position
We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to aid in the oversight and management of our relationships with external agency partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality digital marketing services to our franchise network. This role will involve collaborating closely with franchisees and third-party agencies to ensure that marketing campaigns, strategies, and initiatives align with both brand standards and franchisee needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, experience in managing agency relationships, and a deep understanding of how to support franchisee success. This position requires an understanding of multiple marketing and digital tactics. The ideal candidate must be flexible, as the day-to-day responsibilities will vary with evolving departmental and company-wide objectives.
Responsibilities
• Serve as a primary liaison between the GSSF and our digital marketing agencies, ensuring that agency partners understand brand standards and franchisee service expectations.
• Oversee agency performance and ensure digital marketing campaigns, strategies, and activities align with the brand objectives and franchisee requirements.
• Foster strong, long-term relationships with agency partners and franchisees to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership.
• Analyze campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are optimized and error-free.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve questions, mediate concerns, and support the school's overall success.
• Educate franchisees about the digital marketing initiatives, strategies, and campaigns.
• Stay updated on digital marketing trends and innovations, ensuring that franchisees benefit from the latest tools and strategies available in the industry.
• Plan, execute, and monitor digital marketing initiatives and campaigns to achieve specific goals.
• Assist with team projects as needed.
Requirements
• BS in Digital Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Strong understanding of paid digital marketing channels, including paid search (PPC), social media, and display advertising.
• Previous experience managing and overseeing relationships with external agencies or vendors, focusing on ensuring service excellence.
• Strong knowledge of analytics, ad management, and reporting tools (e.g., Google AdWords, Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc.) to monitor campaign performance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate marketing data and strategies into clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong project management and managerial skills.
Nice-to-haves
• Proven experience (5+ years) in digital marketing, preferably in a franchise, large in-house team, or agency management environment.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to self-motivate in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with a Mac-based environment and G Suite preferred.
