The Data Management Analyst will support OTECH programs by managing data activities, maintaining asset databases, and ensuring timely delivery of program documents while promoting documentation standards and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for data management activities
- Create and maintain program data library asset databases
- Ensure timely and accurate release of deliverables and program documents
- Coordinate with document authors and project managers to ensure deadlines and special handling requirements are met for on-time quality delivery
- Provide education on naming conventions and document format standards
- Promote consistency in naming conventions and documentation standards across multiple projects
- Identify and correct usage errors and edit deliverables for grammar, spelling, and formatting consistency
- Conduct all aspects of documentation management and data management for multiple projects
- Review and report on program data metrics to benchmark effectiveness
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to upgrading standards and best practice guidelines
- Develop and implement review cycle plans, ensuring proper marking of classified documents according to required standards
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, business management, or an equivalent field
- 0-2 years of practical experience in Data Management
- Familiar with data management principles
- Organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and experience in managing documentation libraries
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Administration
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications and database management
- Skilled in time management, oral comprehension, reading comprehension, speaking, written comprehension, information ordering, active listening, critical thinking, and deductive reasoning
- Ability to write business correspondence and interact with others in a professional manner
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Ability to obtain security clearance
- Ability to work independently under general direction
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively within the organization
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-963C, GEIA-859, and DoD 5010.12-M for Data Management
- Effective presentation and computer skills
