About the Role

As a key member of our customer service team, you will be the frontline representative of blithequark, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of service. Your responsibilities will include responding to a high volume of patient messages related to billing questions and inquiries, negotiating payments on patient account balances, and communicating hospital financial policies to patients. You will also identify patients who may need financial assistance, providing them with the necessary support and guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a range of clerical and customer service functions to meet the needs of patients, healthcare providers, and the organization.
• Research and respond professionally to patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance, and other related matters through our web chat and CRM platform.
• Negotiate payment plans with patients and communicate financial policies clearly and compassionately.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of insurance processes, registration, scheduling, referrals, authorizations, and account follow-up to ensure timely reimbursement of claims.
• Work efficiently on a computer for eight hours a day, utilizing multiple monitors and systems simultaneously to manage patient interactions and data.
• Adhere to production standards and maintain accuracy and confidentiality in handling medical records, complying with HIPAA, federal, state, and blithequark requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager to support the team and the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education and Experience

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
