About the position
Responsibilities
• Develop & implement business unit category strategies that achieve year/year savings cost savings initiatives.
• Develop sourcing plans in collaboration with regional or global supply chain on NAA category strategy for synergies.
• Facilitate technical reviews with suppliers.
• Conduct cost and quote analysis to ensure cost benefit for the project.
• Update (JDE) MRP part and supplier data requirements as applicable by business unit.
• Manage applicable purchase requisitions (OH Non-inventory, OH PPAP) as applicable by business unit.
• Support business unit new product introductions, operations improvements (Lean), engineering changes, and work transitions.
• Facilitate and/or participate in cross-functional team meetings.
• Responsible for RFI's, RFQ's, analysis, business cases, and ROI.
• Update all applications including but not limited to ETQ, Teams Logs - GeN3 Core, Sch A/B, RFQ, on a daily basis.
• Support applicable weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and/or report outs.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ years in a Supply Chain management function, procurement, or cost management.
• Familiarity with or experience in lean manufacturing systems and processes, as well as ERP and drawing databases such as Windchill, is preferred.
• Skills in strategic planning and thinking, combined with strong analytical and execution abilities.
• Experience with Excel, Power BI, and/or other data manipulation programs.
• Demonstrated ability to drive teamwork between groups and across functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels of management.
• Demonstrated project management, change management, and negotiating capabilities is a plus.
• Knowledge of elevator industry and/or field operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.
