Role Responsibilities
• Solve complex bioinformatics problems in areas like transcriptomics, genomics, and virology.
• Analyze large biological datasets and submit analytical workflows as Jupyter notebooks.
• Work under a blind protocol, tackling tasks independently without prior context.
• Ensure analytical workflows are well-documented and reproducible using Python and/or R.
• Utilize command-line tools like samtools for data analysis.
• Independently enhance AI model evaluation through scientific reasoning.
Qualifications
• PhD or Master's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, genomics, or related field.
• Experience with RNA‑seq analysis, variant calling, metagenomic classification, epigenomic profiling, single-cell analysis, or population genetics.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Ability to produce reproducible Jupyter notebooks.
• Strong independent problem‑solving skills.
Start Date
• March; tasks assigned on a rolling basis.
