We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our Analytics team as an Assistant Vice President, Digital Analytics (L10). Organizational Overview:
Our Analytics organization is a dynamic and collaborative team, comprising data analysts and leaders who drive business outcomes through data management, development, and implementation of full-stack analytics solutions. As an Assistant Vice President, Digital Analytics, you will play a critical role in shaping our analytics strategy, leading cross-functional teams, and driving business growth through data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver digital measurement analytics for Synchrony's servicing platforms, driving digital data strategy and implementation
- Partner with stakeholders and process owners to plan and implement strategic priorities, ensuring effective communication and project management
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team, coaching on analytical, technical, and functional skills, and guiding career development
- Drive strategic thought leadership, optimizing and scaling current deliveries, and building analytics roadmaps to support business objectives
Required Skills & Knowledge:
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in analytics, with 2+ years in digital or web analytics, and 2+ years in SAS or SQL
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in managing people, coordinating work, supervising, evaluating performance, and ensuring employee training
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in data visualization tools, such as Tableau, to drive insights
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to collaborate, articulate, and present solutions to cross-functional teams
Desired Skills & Knowledge:
- 4+ years of analytics experience in the financial services industry
- Ability to engage with technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring effective translation of needs into technical requirements
Eligibility Criteria:
Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative stream, with 4+ years of hands-on relevant analytics experience. Alternatively, 6+ years of relevant analytics experience without a degree.
Work Timings:
This role offers enhanced flexibility and choice, with a requirement to be available between 06:00 AM Eastern Time and 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with India and US teams. The remaining hours will be flexible for the employee to choose, with exceptions applying periodically due to business needs.
