Job Overview As a Customer Service Representative - Credit Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for handling incoming customer service calls for a major US mobile wireless carrier. Your primary focus will be on assisting customers or retail store representatives with credit application or approval issues. You will be trained to deeply understand the telecommunications core credit line of business, providing expertise and support to customers on every call. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming customer service calls in a professional and courteous manner, providing timely and effective solutions to customer inquiries and concerns. Assist customers with credit application or approval issues, using your knowledge of basic accounting principles and credit standards to make informed decisions. Build rapport with customers, listening actively and responding empathetically to their concerns, and providing a pleasant and helpful experience on every call. Navigate multiple computer applications with speed and accuracy, using good judgment and making ethical, sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Meet and maintain all work-at-home performance and conduct guidelines, including having a dedicated, quiet workspace free from distractions and noise. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 6 months' customer service experience, either in a similar customer service representative/agent position or in a customer-facing retail, hospitality, or other professional work environment. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and credit standards, including how credit scores predict a customer's ability to fulfill financial commitments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide a pleasant and helpful experience on every call. Strong technical skills, including proficiency in using computers, software, and other technology tools. Ability to work efficiently, focusing on quality standards and using resources and tools effectively. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment.
