Their extensive project portfolio spans multiple sectors, including Healthcare, Education, Laboratories, Transportation, Government, Municipal, Retail, Hospitality, and beyond. PCM is involved in projects ranging from new constructions to renovations, additions, and historic restoration work, showcasing their versatility and expertise across a wide range of construction needs. PCM Company is seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of project cost estimation. You will collaborate closely with the firm’s Principals/Owners, Estimators, and Support Staff. Additionally, you will work directly with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: o Detailed takeoff of all trades o Input takeoff quantities and scope into estimate templates o Vendor/material solicitation o Subcontractor solicitation calls/emails o Review project takeoff including confirmation of scales, review of building details, cross sections, etc. o Look up and adjust pricing from RS Means o Price items based on labor productivity rates and material pricing o Review & descope subcontractor/vendor pricing/budgeting and update estimate accordingly Qualifications: · Proficiency with Microsoft Office · Exposure to Construction Estimating/Takeoff Software programs (OnCenter preferred) · Strong organizational skills · Strong verbal and written communication skills · Ability to effectively interface with team members · Work effectively as an individual and as an integral part of a team · Deadline and Detail oriented Company Benefits: · Full-time Position o Flexibility to work in person, remote, or hybrid · Health Insurance · Dental Insurance · 401(k) · Vacation/PTO · Bonus Program (Company Success/Performance Based) Family-Owned and Operated
